The illusion of authenticity.
“I am not feeling like it.”
This sentence is what Resistance uses to kill my ideas and my genius and leaves me miserable.
Would I use this sentence when it comes to a job? Would I tell my manager or my client, “You know! I don’t feel like it. I’ll do it tomorrow.”
But that’s what I tell myself everyday. That I am not feeling like writing today or publishing today. I am just not in the right frame of mind.
That is not an option anymore. If I do work only when I feel like it, then I would do no work at all.
